Book Review: Taking Chances by Molly McAdams

Taking Chances
Goodreads synopsis of Taking Chances

Asian Chick, Karmen’s Review of Taking Chances
Rating: 4.5 stars out of 5 (I would give it 5, but it made me do an ugly cry)

Yes, you read that rating right. This book put me through a “OMFG, that did not just f’in happen!” halfway into it. Seriously, I would never thought a book would be such an emotional roller coaster.  Taking Chances has Harper, the naive college virgin, who soon lands herself in a love triangle with two hot college boys: tattooed, in underground fight clubs, and just all-around bad boys. She’s torn between her boyfriend, Brandon, and her roomie’s brother, Chase (oh what a dilemma)! Ok. Ok. I was also torn between the two.

But when one mistake (or a few mistakes) happens (and depending if you are on Team Brandon or Team Chase), it all changes for Harper! Ugh, you will have to read to find out. This book is filled with angst, anger, tears, cheating, screaming, and just “wow, did that happen?”
