Madeline Sheehan is f’in brilliant. I’m a huge fan on Undeniable and was hoping that UnBeautifully could compare or at least top it. And it did! I absolutely loved how this was written; started after Undeniable’s epilogue and then picked up right after the end of Undeniable. Nothing was left off, so well done! It’s probably one the best reads of 2013 for me!
Danny and Ripper. Their story started out beautifully; beautifully wrong. It was impulsive, hot, dangerous, flawed and gut-wrenching. Ripper was so f’ed up not only by Frankie, but by his violent past and it’s hard for him to move on and have some good in his life. But Danny provided that for him. But a lot of crap happened to prevent their relationship from moving forward–Deuce, The Club, Club Whores, violence and tragedy. Even though they got their little HEA–it was not pretty at all, but it fit perfectly for their story.
I have to say that Deuce stole the book for me. I felt his struggle, his anger, his rage, his emotions, on trying to get over Frankie raping Eva. Madeline did a fantastic job on Frankie’s path of destruction, even after his death–he still continued to f*ck with everyone’s lives in one way or another:
UnBeautifully has moved to my “favorite book shelf.” So if you’re looking for hearts and flowers type of book, then look again. This book will “…f*ck you up the ass with a pitchfork.” And now, I can’t wait for Unattainable, Cage and Tegan’s story. Tegan turned into one fiesty-ass bitch at the end of UnBeautifully!
This is the story of Danny and Ripper and the second book in the series so we get lots of Eva and Deuce. Oh and Danny happens to be the daughter of Deuce so you know there is going to be some drama. So I like a good biker book like my counterpart and I liked this this book. Danny and Ripper’s story is one filled with betrayal, hiding, lies and eventually love. So I really liked Ripper as a matter of fact I loved him!
Now I have to say my favorite two characters are Kami and Cox – these two are awesome. I love there interaction and I really want more of them. One suggestion I have is re-read Undeniable before starting this book so everything is fresh in your mind!
