Blog Tour Stop: Rock My World (Black Falcon #2.5) by Michelle Valentine

RockMyWorld*A Novella in the New York Times and USA Today best-selling Black Falcon series*

After Aubrey Jenson is wrongly dismissed from her job at Center Stage Marketing, she seeks legal advice from her father, The Judge, to see what grounds she has to get her position reinstated. Her surprise visit to her family doesn’t go as smoothly as she hopes when she brings home her new boyfriend, Zach, Black Falcon’s lead guitarist. She soon discovers that father doesn’t always know best when it comes to matters of the heart.

When Zach meets Aubrey’s family, he’s immediately faced with his deepest fear: The love he so desperately wants, he doesn’t deserve. The Judge makes no attempt to hide his disdain for Zach, and will stop at nothing to keep him away from his daughter. But an unexpected twist turns everyone’s plans upside down and no one’s world will ever be the same.

Outside forces attempting to pull them apart are strong and it’s going to take every bit of Zach and Aubrey’s love for one another to withstand the fall-out. Soon, they discover making love last is harder than finding it to begin with and sometimes you pay the ultimate price for true love.
***Note from author: This novella follows Riff and Aubrey’s story from ROCK MY BED.***

What can I say about Zach? I love this bad boy, Oreo eating, Rock Star God! Rock My World is the perfect novella that follows up with Zach and Aubrey after Rock My Bed!

After getting fired from her job, Aubrey heads back home to see if her father, “The Judge” (which I found so odd that they called him that!) can help her take legal action for being wrongfully terminated. And as a little surprise, she brings her boyfriend, Zach (aka Riff) home to meet the ‘rents–the very judgement parents! As we expected, their meeting didn’t go so well. Zach still carries that fear of not being good enough for Aubrey and “The Judge” uses that against him to tear them apart.

Rock My World has enough angst and lots of surprises at the end (OMFG!!!), that gives Zach and Aubrey’s a very HEA. And as always, their steamy encounters makes my Kindle blush!

And I have to mention, the added bonus chapter at the end…Noel–was fan-freakin-tasic! Looking forward to more in the Black Falcon series with the other guys in the band–Trip! And I would love a story on Gabe, Aubrey’s brother too!

So this is a follow-on Novella to Zach aka Riff and Aubrey’s story and their relationship. So the story starts with Zach meeting Aubrey’s family after she has been wrongfully fired!  You already know there is going to be some let’s say “tense” moments with Aubrey’s uptight parents.

Let’s just say that from the minute Zach meets Aubrey’s parents things begin to go a little haywire.  I won’t tell you to much as I don’t want to give to much away, but my heart hurt for Zach at certain times.  Here is what I loved about this book not only did it have great romance, Aubrey’s brother was hysterical, it had some angst, but not to much and it left me with a book hangover.
