Picking the wrong men is a talent Meagan Mitchell has perfected. She’s sweet, confident, beautiful—and single. With her thirtieth birthday sneaking up on her, she needs a new plan. No more Mr. Wrongs or Mr. Bads, it’s time to find Mr. Safe…

Army Captain, Reed Porter, lives for the thrill—he’s an Airborne Jumpmaster with a rush addiction. He’s sexy and playful, and he quickly tempts Meagan with his rich Southern drawl and sinful looks. But slowing down and settling down are not in his agenda, making him exactly the type of man Meagan wants to avoid…

As their undeniable attraction heats up, Meagan has to decide if she’s willing to risk everything on a chance at love with a reckless charmer. Is she brave enough to bet her future—and her heart—on Mr. Thrill? Or will Reed finally learn that the feeling of a safe landing is just as addicting as the rush of the fall?

Our Review of Feel the Rush!
4 Stars!

Captain Reed Porter! What can we say? He is sweet, honest, swoon-worthy and dangerous (but in a good way!). He made us want to jump out of planes and go on white water rafting adventures! Feel the Rush is a great story about Meagan, an Army nurse, who moves to Georgia with her roommate, Eva, to start fresh. There she meets Reed.

Meagan is tired of dating all the wrong men. She wants safe and a stable future with her next relationship. Reed is living everyday like it’s the last–he’s spontaneous and loves to take risks. But Reed is also hiding dark secrets that haunts him everyday. Meagan is clearly attracted to Reed, but she scared to take the leap with him. And Reed wants to keep Meagan in his life, even if it means being “friends.” These two try the path of friendship, but their attraction is so strong–it’s hard to keep it platonic. But when these two do hook-up…S-T-E-A-M-Y!

Meagan was a great character in the beginning; she was fun, spur of the moment and adventurous. But towards the end, she started to annoy us. We felt like she became whiny and blind in seeing what was in front of her–Reed! Reed was perfect, he was honest with her; but she was just so hung up on having the perfect future by a certain age. She just kept pushing him away without even talking it out with him. But she did finally grow on us at the very end.

These two do get a HEA, but it’s not without drama and angst– and that’s what we loved about Feel the Rush! It’s a page-turner that you just makes you want to scream at Meagan to get it right (also at Reed!). We also felt for Reed, when his secrets finally come out–heartbreaking! He needs a hug from us!

Feel the Rush is a great weekend read, that makes you want to find yourself a hot Army man! And we loved her roomie, Eva. She was feisty and a great friend who told you like is. We hope to read her story in the future!

ReadHe lifted the T-shirt over her head and tossed it to the ground. Then he took a moment to just look at her. The woman who had taken up residence in his mind—in his dreams—for the last week was right in front of him, and he wanted to make sure to embed the real image of her in his mind, because the memory of her from that night long ago did nothing to exemplify what was in front of him now.

“You’re staring,” she whispered shyly.

“I know.”

She slid her legs behind her and raised to her knees in front of him. Her tits were right in his reach, her nipples pink and taut, and he wanted to lean down and pull one into his mouth and roll it between his lips—but he didn’t. He was more interested to see what Meagan had planned now that she was on her knees in front of him.

She inched her body closer to him, but even then she still wasn’t close enough—not as close as Reed needed her to be. Reaching out, she grabbed his hands in hers then slowly brought one to her mouth and pulled his thumb between her lips, sucking it gently. His eyes were fixated on her plump lips as she swirled her tongue around his thumb then released it from her warm mouth. She moved his hands down, splaying his palms over her collarbone, down over her tits—barely giving him time to enjoy the soft mounds before she skimmed them over her stomach. Just as he thought she was leading him to her sweet spot, to where he was itching to touch—to feel her warm and wet, coating his fingers—she wrapped his hands around her waist and pressed her body against him.

The closeness he was craving seeped into him as her soft, bare skin fluttered over his.
“Isn’t it more fun to touch than to look?”

Oh, hell, he was in for it with this woman.
