Off Chance is the perfect end of the Off Series. We’re sad to say goodbye to the Caldwell men!
Flynn Caldwell, hot NYC Firefighter with a heart so big–he’s willing to help anyone no matter what. And the reason…he’s trying to make up what happened to him in a tragic event many years before.
Rowan Page, what a character! She’s a bit broken, but absolutely the most determined character we’ve read about so far. Not matter what life threw her, she was going to fix it herself and doesn’t need anyone to help.
Flynn meets Rowan during a call and couldn’t believe what he saw in his fire rescue. Flynn’s helpful nature kicks in and helps Rowan out–not only does he save her, but he goes beyond the call of duty.
Rowan is grateful for Flynn, but still hesitant with him. She was in a bad situation, with bad people after her and didn’t want Flynn involved. But slowly these two can’t stop the attraction between each other, but both afraid to take the next step forward. Eventually these two make it, but it’s not without drama to get to their HEA.
And the epilogue was perfect. It closed out the entire series with all the characters and how their life carried on!
USA Today Best-Selling author, Sawyer Bennett, is a snarky southern woman and reformed trial lawyer who decided to finally start putting on paper all of the stories that were floating in her head. She is married to a mobster (well, a market researcher) and they have two big, furry dogs who hog the bed. Sawyer would like to report she doesn’t have many weaknesses but can be bribed with a nominal amount of milk chocolate.
