Oh the story of Leah and Jack.  Let me just say I could not wait for Jack’s book.  I loved the glimpses of him we have see so far.  And Leah oh how much I loved her and her independence that sometimes caused her quite a bit of trouble.  I loved the back story with these too and how even all these years later they had to still fight hard to get to there happy ending.  I will say this book has some angst but don’t fear it does have an HEA and the dialogue and writing is great.  I love the Lucky Harbour series.

Rating: 4 stars out of 5

This is book 4 in the Marriage to a Billionaire series and it is my favorite.   This is the story of Julietta and Sawyer.  Oh how I loved Sawyer who had this hard exterior but a super soft inside.  Don’t get me wrong he has his own sense of what is good for Julietta and what he thinks should happen between them.

I loved Julietta and here is why:  1- she appears to have it together on the outside but ultimately she has insecurities just as everyone else does.  2.  She has a big heart and loves her family.  In a sense her family reminded me a lot of my family – dysfunction and all.

As I said this was a great read – steamy in all the right places, funny, sweet and a HEA.  I’m a sucker for a Happily Ever After.  It got a 4 out of 5 stars from me.

Rating: 5 stars out of 5

This is book three of the Inside Out Trilogy and I have been waiting for this book since I read the second in the trilogy.  I didn’t think it was possible to love Chris Merit more than I already had but honestly I love him more.  I have to say that what I love most about this series is the the two main characters.  Sometimes in books I may really love one character more than the other but I honestly love both Chris and Sara.  I like that Sara is independent yet understands that Chris is it for her.  I love that Chris is a hot alpha male with a heart of gold.

In book three we learn a lot more about Chris and his past.  First there are no spoilers about those in here but I am going to talk about them generally.  So what we learned about Chris only made me love him more.  When he finally reveals where his pain comes from it made me cry but somehow made me love him more.

LRJ did a great job with story development in this book as well as all the books in the series.  I can’t tell you how much i loved this book as well as some of the supporting characters we met.  Mark makes a small appearance kind of and let me tell you at first I didn’t like Mark but now I love him. I read this book in one sitting – I literally stayed up till 2 am to finish it.  I loved the ending and I have to say I have new fondness for dragons and dragon tattoos!!!!  If you haven’t read this series yet I highly recommend it.

So this is Mark’s novella and let me tell you I freaking loved it.  I mean seriously loved him.  In this book we get a glimpse at Mark and he need for control. I loved how this book was written and the story line with Mark and Crystal.  I have to tell you the only thing I didn’t like about this book was that it ended!!!  I want more Mark…..

This is book 1 in The Secret Life of Amy Bensen series.  Amy(formerly Lara) is on the run from a past tragedy that has people chasing her.  On her way to her next “safe” location she meets Liam.  Liam is all Alpha male from the get go.  Domineering both in and out of the bedroom.  Amy is having issues of her own not only is she on the run and doesn’t know who to trust or who is helping her, she is falling hard for Liam.

Amy has been on the run a while and it is being funded by an unknown source who is trying to keep her safe.  Liam knows she is on the run even though Amy won’t admit it to him.  I’m not going to give away to much in this review but I loved Liam – I love all Lisa’s male characters honestly.  So what did I love about this book – soo many things but here a few of the top.  This book had me from page 1 and that is saying a lot. I debated whether or not I should take my kindle with me when I met some friends for lunch, but decided that would be rude.  This book has suspense and build-up and Lisa does it perfectly.  So much so at the end of the book I stared at my kindle and said “No, it can’t be over yet”.  I am patiently (ok not so patiently) waiting to find out about book 2 to get here later this year.  Again this book is 4 star worthy and should be on your TBR list!!
