This isn’t your normal romance novel. It has a suspense, intrigue, romance and maybe a little love triangle. Kate is the main character and is finally getting over something tragic from her past. In starting the next chapter she is ready to begin again.
This story has romance and we definitely loved Neil and his character. Oh the angst in this book…it came from many places. Without giving away spoilers…Roger is creepy. From the start there was something off on him even though a part of me wanted him to be the ultimate alpha male. The book ends with a cliffhanger and now we patiently wait for the second book to see what happens next. This was an easy read with angst, suspense and romance.
